Traverse Health and Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University join forces to establish Traverse Tekmer Center of Competence for data engineering and analysis

Istanbul – Traverse Health, is pleased to announce agreement to cooperate with Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University in the establishment and development of the Tekmer Center of Competence for data engineering and analysis CoC. The agreement, signed on the 1st of May, marks an important milestone in advancing healthcare research and innovation.
The Traverse Tekmer Center of Competence (TTCC) is a collaborative initiative between Traverse Health and Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University, aimed at leveraging the power of data engineering and analysis to drive transformative advancements in healthcare. The project encompasses an initial setup phase, during which activities related to launching two pilot projects of the TTCC will commence.
The first pilot projects focus on studying the patterns of Migraine and Obesity within the Turkish population. By harnessing real world data and employing advanced data engineering and analysis techniques, these projects aim to gain valuable insights into the prevalence, risk factors, and potential interventions related to Migraine and Obesity, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes and public health strategies.
These patient registers will serve as comprehensive databases containing crucial patient information, enabling healthcare professionals to access accurate and up-to-date data for research, clinical decision-making, and population health management purposes.
Dr. Seda Nilgün Dumlu, a member of the Acibadem Data Analytics Lab, will lead the development of TTCC, a distinguished member of Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University. With her expertise in data analysis, Dr. Dumlu will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful establishment and growth of the Center of Competence.
The Traverse Tekmer Center of Competence will serve as a regional hub for interdisciplinary collaboration, bringing together experts from various fields such as data science, healthcare research, and technology. Through this collaborative effort, Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University and Traverse Health aim to drive groundbreaking research, advance healthcare outcomes, and contribute to the global knowledge base in data-driven healthcare.
